WSET 3 – FULL PACKAGE

The WSET 3 is a very hard exam with a pass rate of only 50%. The examination comprised of a blind tasting, followed by 50 multiple choice questions and 4 short-written questions. You will obtain your WSET 3 certification if you obtain:

• An aggregate mark of between 55% and 64% = Pass.
• An aggregate mark of between 65% and 79% = Pass with Merit.
• An aggregate mark of 80% and above with no individual examination below 65% = Pass with Distinction.

Obtaining your WSET 3 certification will require at least 50 hours of study and dedication on top of the hours in the classroom, and more if you want to Pass with Distinction.

The book and its 45 chapters contains a large amount of complex information which can be challenging to understand an assimilate given the diversity of the countries, regions, grape varieties and wine making techniques addressed.
